Y’all we,Iike most rescues & shelters in the south are overflowing. The hardest part about running a rescue is saying “no” especially when the dog is located in East Feliciana Parish where there is no place for them to turn. Sadly, as a foster based rescue, we are limited by the number of willing fosters we have available. Most of us are double-tripled up with fosters in addition to our personal pups. Summertime is the worst because the cute little spring puppies are now energetic teenagers, always starving for food and attention. So many uncaring folks either now purposely dump them or simply don’t legally contain them and allow them to wander off and don’t bother to find them. In addition, our boarding facilities are all overflowing with clients on summer vacations, leaving no open slots for us and adoptions typically drop due to folks traveling. Soooo, if you ever considered fostering before, WE NEED YOU! This sweet, sweet girl is located in the parish where stray animals have no hope. The finder has an aggressive dog who won’t co-exist.
